Example Assignment: Ørsted A/S (formerly DONG Energy) - Sale of Energy and Renewable Products
Working on behalf of DONG Energy, ETRS planned the sales strategy for DONG's merchant wind farms at Burbo Bank and Gunfleet Sands.
Working closely with the company a tender process was designed and implemented to identify a shortlist of potential customers. Proposed contract terms were then developed consistent with the tender and customer responses.
Detailed contract terms were negotiated, and contracts concluded ahead of the production of first power from Gunfleet.
ETRS also supported DONG Energy by accrediting Gunfleet for ROCs and in the negotiation of terms for grid connection, transmission system access, metering and settlement system registration required for the sale.
